in Credit cards
Hi All,
Took out a Capital One credit card about 4 years ago, with the aim of "rebuilding" my credit after it all went very wrong for me about 6 years ago... Anyway... the main reason I took it out was as above.. limit was £200.00, which they promised to review, but as of now, it's still @ £200.00..
Anyway, my credit score is starting to improve. (421 in Feb, 606 at the start of the month...) not brilliant yet, but at least I am now "poor" rather than "very poor"... which is good news.
They kindly sent me a "platinum" card last week, which considering my score improvements, thought that it might be a precursor to getting my limit raised...
Further post today however reveals that due to "market conditions" they are increasing their APR to 39.4%... how do these people get away with this????

With all the sly things credit card companies do, this is one of the most believable things, yes!0
