Suggestion for correct information

How about the correct information being put on the site? The Plusnet broadband is not £5.99 a month for all, after 3 months it goes up to £11.99 for some, a fact not made known clearly.
Secondly, savings accounts, most only give you a good rate if you are a new customer therefore headline interest rates reported on this site are not actually true if you have or have had an account with the institution before.
All money comparison sites are doing the same thing, saying that ING for instance has a good rate, but not clearly informing us that it is only for new applications.
Sometimes we go around in circles when we get to the links we find the information is actually useless.
It is such a shame when Martin and others do such a good job finding out information but it is getting like google searching when all one actually gets is shopping info and not what one is actually looking for.
Good luck with the site Martin and keep up the good work, my suggestion is just to ask if information could be made clearer. :T

Hi spikeyman,
Plusnet broadband is £5.99/month for the duration of the contract UNLESS you live in the 30% off the country where the exchange has not been unbundled, in which case the price goes up to £11.99/month. We say this very clearly in the article:
If you're in the 30% of the country that can't get this offer (check by entering your postcode) you'll only get the first three months at £5.99, after this it'll set you back £11.99/month, meaning you should try elsewhere.Secondly, savings accounts, most only give you a good rate if you are a new customer therefore headline interest rates reported on this site are not actually true if you have or have had an account with the institution before.
Unfortunately companies are generally more interested in attracting new customers and therefore offer them the best rates. This is true across the board for nearly everything and MSE is all about ditching loyalty and getting the best rates available.0
