  • he helps those that need it, without others hijacking it or did you think he was up to no good/illegal activities????????

It's a help forum where everyone can contribute. More often than not problems are solved from the input of multiple people's knowledge. Taking it privately, as has previously been mentioned, denies somebody who may have a similar problem being able to troubleshoot it themselves and leaves them in the position that they have to start a new thread and sit waiting for replies. No one is 100% correct all of the time either.

I wasn't suggesting Donnie was up to anything, but there's been numerous threads that have provided great amusement to read that he has been involved in..

Actually, you just stuck your nose in where it wasn't needed. You haven't contributed anything with regard to the OP's question.

If you wanted to help, you can still contribute an answer to her question if you really wanted to be helpful to other readers.

But of course, that is not the case is it?

I think "useless articles" is the description most apt for you and MartyJ in this case.

So, put up or shut up. Post a helpful answer to the OPs question or move along without further hijacking the thread.

Because you've shrouded your own recommendations in secrecy you've made it difficult for anyone else to contribute.

I wouldn't know what to suggest, as I don't know what has already been suggested.

Regardless, how do you know anewhope and myself haven't been helping the OP in PM?

You have absolutely no idea how much we've contributed, which is the problem when people start PMing solutions to one another.

Because the OP had already thanked me for the solution by the time you had posted.

But you are welcome to help others by posting whatever useful solutions you may have.

How so? Since you are all for the benefit of the other members, you can post your recommendations in full....or is it that you have nothing to contribute?
