Hi
Can you tell me if there is a deadline for the council to make PCNs available to pay?
Basically I recieved a ticket for overstaying in a bay. I made several attempts to pay the ticket (for up to 5 or 6 days after) but it wasn't "uploaded on to their system". I then appealed saying that as I was only given 14 days to pay the reduced ammount and 5 of these days had now passed without the facility for me to do so that the ticket should be cancelled. They have just written to me 54 days later saying that the ticket still stands and I have another 14 days to pay the reduced ammount. Can they do this??

Yes they can and they are extending the discount period which it to your benefit as you have decided to pay. If they have a local 'Parking Shop' take in the PCN and the letter and pay over the counter. Retain the letter.0
