T-mobile default

Its quite possible the default was placed by Shop Direct, just before been passed to Lowell, who then changed it to the company name Lowell Portfolio.
With regards to the T-Mobile default, do you know if you received paperwork about the default, it is on a technicality that defaults could be removed if you never received the paperwork, but it would probably be pot luck if it works.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

I believe settled relates to accounts rather than defaults, but i might be wrong on that. Settled usually means the account has been closed and balance paid in full.
[STRIKE]Im just searching the web to see if i can find some concrete info on what the different account states mean.[/STRIKE]
Edit - I've not managed to find any further information on the different account statuses, and how it affects your report. I believe even satisfied defaults will have an impact as it shows you have at some point broken your contract and places you as a credit risk even if eventually you did manage to pay up the balance in full. I would see what advice others on this forum can provideAlthough no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

I never did receive paperwork for the T-MOBILE default, I was living in the address that the DEFAULT was listed at, so even though they passed the debt onto MOORCROFT who i ignored. The debt got passed back to T-MOBILE. but i was never made aware of any DEFAULT by T-MOBILE.
Is there anyway I can get the default removed as I never received a default notice?Clearing debts one step at a time.0 -
You could try, but i am not sure if the paperwork that you should receive warning of a default and giving you 14 days to rectify it applies to mobiles or if it is part of the CCA 1974.
That goes outside my realms of knowledge, maybe if you drop a regular poster like Fermi a PM he might be able to advise further.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

As we are on about phone contracts, I was wondering if you could help me with O2 as well. I had a debt with them, which they passed onto moorcroft debt recovery, then the debt got passed onto northampton ccbc which then resulted in me getting a ccj.
Now what I am wondering is can I get the ccj set aside. I did fill in the paperwork and agreed i owed the debt. But now I want to pay the debt exclusively to O2 and not pay moorcroft.
I have offered to pay moorcroft the cost ogf them getting a ccj at the court if they get the ccj removed from my credit reports.
Do you think I would have any luck in this?Clearing debts one step at a time.0 -
Sadly i don't know anything about setting aside CCJs so you will have to wait for someone else to answer. Im not sure if dates matter, but when was the CCJ Granted?Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

I don't know if there was a timelimit for setting aside so it was worth just getting that info for others that help you, as i said i don't know about this area unfortunately.
