    Hi,

I got this card, so thanks for the tip. It came through really quickly. I notice that according to the website:

"Full details will be sent to you once your account is open."

I have the card, and my pin and I have not got any Full details. I tried asking the CS rep when I rang to activate but all she was interested in was selling me crappy payment protection and loads of other crap. In the end I was just happy to get her off the phone.

I have actually put my card on my Paypal account, and used it for extended use (so £1 has already been charged to my card, one thing I can't fault is MBNA's instant access internet account setup)

Will this be classed as a use of the card, would be nice if I could get the shirt for ZERO outlay :)

    T&Cs say:

"To be eligible for this offer you need to apply for the England Credit Card and use your card within 28 days of the account being open"

To be honest I dont mind spending on it to get the shirt for a purchase, although I am a bit worried that I got no "England Shirt Offer" paperwork with the card.

How has everyone else faired? Once I get the shirt I will be cancelling. I have a decent YBS cash back card, and my trusty Nationwide CC for VISA purchases abroad.

    Cheers,

    Mike

Wonder whether England will be home before the shirts arrive?

My card arrived today, no documentation regarding the free England shirt, I went and spent £1.48 in Morrisons, so waiting now for the JJB voucher.

I did not realise it was a Platinum Card when I applied, perhaps that's why it's a minimum salary of £22,000.

Nope, hmm I wonder if this is just a con to get people to sign up to MBNA, I spent within 28 days of getting my card. I got no literature about the offer and have so far not received a voucher. Card will be getting cleared at the end of the month and binned. :)

I too am a little sceptical that iw ill receive my voucher.

I used my card o the 8th June. I received a statement today 26th June, but no voucher - 18 days of the 28 so far.

Does the voucher arrive separate to the statement?

    no thanks........

I'm sure if Scotland ever qualify for anything, the 84% of this island that are English will offer our kilt wearing cousins the same courtesy.

It's just a pity thats about as likely to happen as a scotsman buying a round, Dobbie.
