Thanks all. Yes, I'm glad it's done with and yes, I also dreaded this more than court. I still feel like it's not quite over though, like it was all a bit too easy! Part of me is going to keep expecting a BRU till discharge, for no reason.

Lee - I went through the denial, anger, bargaining and acceptance stages when BR was first mentioned to me good and proper. By court date I had settled and was just doing what had to be done. Unlike others I have no assets to lose or family to put through hell and financially I am better off now than before, so it really is for the best. It was hell getting here though, mind.

What I am right now, is terrified that something will come up before I have time to save enough money. I have no one to back me up so I'm practically holding my breath and hoping for the best. If something goes wrong, it'll go very wrong. The first emergency has just come up this week in fact and whatever would have been put aside is going to get spent. Plans for saving up for the IPA are already being 'parked'. Not a good start.

Hi Trom, missed this thread somehow!

It's horrible not having the credit blanket for times of trouble. Our first stumble was the removal van we needed to move. We managed to save £60 it cost but forgot about the £100 deposit. What a stressful time that was!

Pleased things are going as smoothly as possible for you

Thanks Miche. I hope you managed to find the £100. It's a horrible feeling indeed.
