The Co-op clear card may be useful to some. There is no charge for cash advances, very handy if like me you have unthinkingly used your credit card instead of your debit card to get cash from the atm. The interest rate is 12.9% for everything. Nice and simple, hence the "clear" card. You request your own credit limit.

I can't quite work out from the T&C's if interest is charged immediately on cash withdrawals or not. If it isn't then this could be a great card for stoozing. Cheers for the heads up.

Never mind, had a look through the PDF. They still charge interest straight away.

Is it easy to obtain? I applied for a think card and was accepted, because I thought the clear card had more stringent criteria because of low APR on cash and no cash handling fee, as you rightly said.
