Problems with Paypal

I am having problems with Payplal at the moment, and to get in touch with them is nigh on impossible, so thought I would ask on here.
I sold an item on Ebay, and the buyer paid me through Paypal, due to me having to go away and the postal strikes etc, I have not sent the item yet, and the buyer has already issued a dispute with Paypal.
There is now a minus ammount showing in my Paypal account, and they are also telling me that if the issue is not resolved then they will refund the buyer.
How can I refund the buyer when there is already a minus in my account?
Will they take more money out?

According to the new rules of ebay. If they find in favour of the buyer then they will remove the money from your account and reimbuse the buyer the purchase cost and origianl postage charged. If there is insufficient funds, ebay will reimburse the buyer and then you will have to make payment to ebay for the money.SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £2470.95/£1000 (19) £0/£10000

Looks like they have had there money back from paypal already and put you in a minus so they are not out of pocket.
Put the money from the transaction back into paypal and all is square0 -

Why do the postal strikes stop you sending an item? They only started today. The buyer would have had to wait 7 days to open the dispute. Selling an item then going away is i'm afraid just stupid. If Paypal take your account into a minus you are then required to bring it into balance. In the long run if this doesnt happen they will refer it to a debt collecting agency0
