Smiths at gretna green hotel?

Has anyone stayed at smiths hotel at gretna as i am thinking of going there for 2 nights while we are getting married at gretna with our 3 boys, so it would be the family room we would book.

What is the hotel like and what is the family room like? any ideas, as i am looking to book asap.

They were self catering apartments, which were really nice and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend, especially if you are going as a family group.

We recently stayed for a weekend and had our wedding reception here:

The rooms were huge! The family room had two double beds and a three piece suite in it. They would add a fold up bed for the third child.

It was spotlessly clean, the food was lovely and the staff looked after us well. You also have free use of the health club with a pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi - the kids loved it in here.

It also has a hairdressing salon if you want hair and make up done. She was a really nice lady and I felt very pampered!
