hoping someone can help, after spending 40 minutes on the phone to several different people (and countries) and none the wiser!! :mad: is there a charge for using my cashcard in thailand? one lloyds lady told me 4.25% per transaction?! another told me £1.50 maximum?
can anyone confirm as i dont want to be charge a fiver everytime i take £100 out!
i applied for a nationwide flex account on everyones recommendations but it wont be ready in time alas

This is from their website it said for debit cards using ATM's abroad: 1.5% minimum £2, maximum £4.50

For purchases using the debit card it's £1 per transaction whatever the amount. So - whenever you can, if you go shopping, purchase things together rather than separately.0 -
Or use a credit card for the non cash transactions which do not incur the £1 fee.0
