I don't use many DVDs but intend to remedy this but I'm never sure which kind to buy. I want to use them for back-up, music and films and would prefer to buy one sort that will do it all.
Any recommendations/advice please?
thanks

The same dvd will back up all those things. Check your dvd player to see if it favours + (plus) or - (minus) and then get DVD-R's if you only want to use the dvd once or DVD-RW's if you want to re-use them (more expensive). You can also go for dual layer (even more expensive) if you want double the storage and your dvd burner can handle them.
Personally I buy either Verbatim for ordinary use of Taiyo Yudin for storing copies of movies. They are not the cheapest but I believe that they are the best. I tend to get them from AmazonI'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
