cruise, where to book? confused

I always book direct with the cruise line/airline. That way if the company goes bust I can claim on Sect 75 of the CCA with no bother. If you go through a Travel Agent things get a lot more complicated.
"Where customers use a credit card to buy airline or other travel tickets from a travel agent, they cannot normally claim against the travel agent if the airline delays or cancels the flight. This is because the travel agent contracted to supply the ticket, not the flight. So the customer would not have a claim under section 75 either."

Cruise companies offer deals to different sellers. It could be your TA has a good deal at the moment.
We booked our last cruise with a TA and achieved an excellent deal, tried again last week and they were more than 20% more than Bolsover and wouldn't shift on the price.
Bolsover got the booking.0
