Is there any decent free ones out there?
All I want to do is back up a load of files, my docs etc and dont want to fork out for Nero or something similar.
Nothing fancy, just nice and simple would be good.:j

Could you not just download the trial version of Nero and just burn what you want?FB :heartpuls Wiggly

I use 'Burn at once' (thought it was https://www.burnatonce.org, but that doesn't seem to be the correct site, I guess Google will find it).
Either use another program to create a .iso file or just tell it what files you want to burn, and it goes off and sticks them on the disk. Originally I downloaded it to burn the .iso files that my DVD authoring program creates, but it's just as useful for basic backups too.0 -
Also Slysoft.com produce Clone DVD and other similar products which have free trial periods.0

The basic Nero package can be bought from most local computer stores for around that price.0

you should be able to pick up a copy of NERO from a "computer fair" for next to nothing, (£1 or £2). worth looking.. and it's a good program:beer: Keep your Chin up.. it can only get better
I'm one of those people who was born to have money,
but I just don't have any!

try a program called dvddecrypter which you can download at http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/ . This program is totally free and is an excellent program to use to backup your dvds.
Let me know if you need any help in using this product.
