Hi,
I just want to encourage everyone who is having trouble with a retailer!
We bought a Hewlett Packard IQ772 in March 2008 an amazing computer but it certainly had it's faults, we had the wireless keyboard and mouse replaced three times in the first year and then the graphics card went in the summer. Comet tried to fight us all the way, but we stayed in close contact with Consumer Direct and did as they said and Voila! Computer is being repaired free of charge, it has cost us nothing!
Don't let retailers take you for a ride! It would have cost us over £200 otherwise!

Good for you!
I do believe many retailers try to be as obstructive as possible in the hope consumers will just give up.
