in the mean time just to help you cut down a bit - your phone and electric seem very high per month - especially your electric - are you sure its right? have you had a meter reading recently?
also you mention car finance - can you hand the car back? i assume thats what the tax and insurance is for - you could cut that out.
have you phoned your creditors and explained that you're in trouble - tell them you can send them a token payment - even of £1 per month until you get sorted someway. if you speak to them and find out where you stand then it'll stop you worrying.DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

Its one of them pay as you go thingys0 -
ok i'm outside Lisburn too - Lambeg. and I know what you mean about the eastern europeans - i'm originally from dungannon and they now make up 10% of the population.
anyhow i'll look about and see if I can see anything for you.
in the meantime - do you really need the car, you're only going to get further behind with the repayments, and the tax and insurance is money you could be putting towards something else.
your elevtric is one of those card thingys? how many are in your house - just you and child? is your heating electric? cos if its not then that seems way too high and you should phone NIE to get them to check it.
also you phone at £40 is quite high - is that BT?DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

Its a contract mobile i took out while working, again another bad idea, Yeah I thought my electric was a bit high myself. The car I ma going to get rid of but it wont make alot of difference0 -
ok it may not make a lot of difference right now but at least you're doing something positive. now is the car on HP or did you get a loan? how long have you been paying it and how much is it a month? what type of scheme was it - because all this determines whether you can simply hand the car back, or what you can do.
the contract for the mobile - when did you get it - how long for? if you cant cancel it then can you phone them and explain the circumstances, at least try to get them to change you to a cheaper deal.
phone NIE tomorrow and tell them you think its very high - it could be that its set at a higher rate or something.
phone MBNA and the other credit card tomorrow as well - explain whats happening and tell them you can only afford a token of £1 per month at the minute.
i know you're feeling down at the minute and want to bury your head in the sand but the longer you do that the worse you will feel, if you make these phonecalls and sort some things out youll feel a lot better.
just thinking about it - i think tescos (the big one in lisburn) had advertisements instore for staff - they are really good to work for - I think that if you could manage to get yourself out and about you would feel better and as you said it was getting into debt that has made you depressed and unable to work then if you try to get a positive view and get a job you'll be working towards getting yourself out of debt - it can be done.
do you think you'll be able to go to work? what did you work at before?DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY
