    No, because I can't afford to.

    Here's my Income and expenditure

    Income:
    Housing Benefit 0 (Inc Rates)
    Incapacity Benefit £228.00
    Child Tax Credit 0
    Child Benefit £67.00

    Total = 295.00 Per Month

    Outgoings:

    Rent £280.00
    Shopping £80
    Electric £50
    Phone £40
    TV Lisence£11
    Broadband £15
    Insurance £25
    Tax £15

    Total £516 Per Month

    That is even before I pay creditors and I am behind in rent and car finance.

    MBNA = £4250.45
    Capital One = £3890.45
    Over paid Tax Credit = £4000
    Hosuing benefit = not sure

    It apparantly has been overpaid also and is under review, because tax credit have been overpaid it also put housing benefit off..

    I think your right, I can't work due to the depression and anxiety problems I have developed with debt so a long length of rope in the woods seems to be my only option

    CGC,

    I know things seem bleak right now, but you WILL get through this, if only for the next little while because of your kid.

    Do you have any family?

    Are you in council housing? Have you been to talk to them about your position? Sometimes they can be quite helpful in finding you somewhere cheaper as a priority.

    Who have you taken advice from? CAB? Who did you talk to about your bankruptcy first off?
    Debt free 4th April 2007.
    New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.
  • I have been phoning around all day, the jobcentre has 2 jobs in a 20 mile radius, 1 on a building site the other as a roof joiner.. Not exactly for me.. I have phoned around bars,cafes etc but no vacancies, problem being here in Northern Ireland its actually a case of spot the Irish, there is that many eastern european workers, who do the jobs below the min wage which give me no hope. I really don't know what to do..

    Ispoke to the CAB about bankruptcy, they advised either go bankrupt or my creditors may apply for bankrupcy. I might have to move in with my parents, but after going bankrupt they will not want me and I know that for a fact as they through me out when I was 18 for maxing a £500 credit card, thinking there credit ratings would be effected with me living there
