Should I wait a little longer?

I bought an item from ebay a few weeks ago. I paid as soon as the auction ended and received an email from the seller saying that they would send the item the next day. The item arrived 10 days later which I thought was a bit long but was happy with item and so left good feedback.
On the 6th May I bought another item from this seller as a BIN, realising it would take a little longer to arrive than it would with some sellers but they were the only person selling this item so I thought I would just have to wait a little longer. On the 17th May it hadn't arrived so I e-mailed the seller to ask them to confirm posting. They emailed back to say that they had been away and would post it tomorrow. Today is 24th May (over 2 1/2 weeks from when I payed) and it still isn't here!
My question is, do you think it is time to contact paypal and try to get my money back? I've not had to do this before and am not sure what to do. I also feel a bit sad to do it as I've not had to deal with any kind of dispute before but I cant afford to let someone hold 14 quid without sending something in return for weeks on end.

Yes. I would contact paypal now and say that the item has not arrived. Thats far too long to wait for the item to arrive unless it's from a far eastern country or something???2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
