We're pulling out around 200ft of hedging from the side of our new house, but whilst we can get the hedge dug out ok, we're aware that it could cost siginficantly to dispose of it, ie, i cant see the local council skips taking it.
Has anyone any ideas / advice on how to go about it?

Erm Bonfire night is coming up, that's what I did when I removed 100ft of 50 yr old privet hedge in fact the whole village used to do a load of gardening in the run up to nov 5th.
I had great fun doing so as my removal method involved a length of chain and a landrover.0 -

At our Council dump they have separate skips for 'green' waste but imagine how many journeys you'll have to make.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Does anywhere here celebrate bonfire night???0 -
Is there anywhere that doesn't?
I don't know of any local councils who don't have a fireworks display, but it's unlikely you'll see many bonfires as they're not very 'green' these days.0
