MM02 shares

I have a small number of shares on 02 and, having noticed they are no longer listed in the share index wondered what has happened, they must have changed their name? Where have I been to have missed this?

They were taken over by telefonica. You should have received some documents related to the take over assuming your address is correct on the share register. How did you hold the shares? Do you have a certificate or were they in a nominee?

I have a certificate.

That is strange as we paid out 2/3 months ago. We only had 365 shares.

Who are the registrars on the certificate as you need to get in contact with them.

You should have had paperwork late last year telling you about this.

Thanks for your reply. Does this mean I wont be able to sell them - was there a time limit?

Yes and no. It means that mmO2 no longer exist so you can't sell those shares - but it also means that you are also owed money for the shares that have been compulsory purchased off you. speak to registrars.
