How big is the gap between the bottom of the door and garage floor when he door is closed?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

If the floor surface on the door exterior is flat, or sloping towards the garage, then sealing will be more difficult or even impossible without creating a drainage channel running along the floor at the door base. If floor even or sloping away, then there are a number of suitable brush or rubber based baffles/seals that can be fasteded to door lip. Most DIY stores sell various types.0

Up-and-Over garage doors are finely balanced - attaching a weather strip to the bottom of the door can upset this balance, resulting in the garage door failing to stay open when you want it to."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

google Garage door weather strip. its applied to the floor not the door and stops the rain coming in. looks a little like a sleeping policeman (road hump) obviously not as big0

There is a cheap and cheerful way of doing this. What you need is a length of wood about 1/4" square or thereabouts. Cut it to length so that it's as long as the door aperture. Treat it with a bit of varnish or preservative. Then screw it to the floor just inside the lip of the door as it's shut, coat the underneath edge with a bit of silicone sealant before you do this ( you'll need to drill & plug the concrete floor to take the screws, but it doesn't have to be mega-strong, it's only to hold the wood in place ). The result is that you've created a waterproof lip that won't interfere with the garage door, but as it's only 1/4" ( or even less ) high, you can still easily drive your car over it ( if you're one of the rare people that actually keep a car in the garage ! ). Hope this makes sense - easier to do than explain :-)0
