Canon Pixma iP2600 Printer

My Canon Pixma iP2600 printer was running low on ink. In fact the colour actually ran out & there was a small amount of black ink left. The printer started to print in very small characters, presumably to save ink. I have replaced both the black & colour cartridges but the printer hasn't reverted to 'normal' print size.
I have read the online manual & there is nothing in there about adjusting the print size. I have tried the control panel printer settings but this covers page & margin sizes but not print size.
Please can someone explain to me how to get the printer to print in a 'normal' size as before? Thanks.

Inkjet printers do not have a setting for size of print. The print size is set by the program that you are printing from.
Simply highlight the text that you are printing in that program (MS Word, maybe?) and choose a larger font size.0 -
Thanks fwor. I was printing a bank statement from the LTSB website. The print is very small. Perhaps it is down to the bank's website.0

How you overcome this depends on what browser you are using. For example in Firefox you edit Preferences, unselect the tick-box that allows websites to choose their own fonts, and then select a minimum font size which is large enough to read comfortably when printed.
It will no doubt be similar in IE but I can't say exactly how, as I don't have that browser available to me.0
