Does it work via Infra-Red? If so make sure it has a good line of sight.

Had a similar problem with my bluetooth keyboard too. Found moving the usb bluetooth dongle in closer view of the keyboard helped.

have you tried changing keyboard properties?
Go to start, click control panel, click keyboard and properties and a slider comes up to change the delays between keystrokes etc.

The real fun will start when you find the solution, but keeep tyyping thee keyystrooke aggain fromm forcce off habiit ;)

Wish I could be of more help, only advice I can offer is to make sure the batteries are a decent make; might be worth investing in some rechargables if you haven't already.

I cannot believe the answer was that simple..:rotfl:

I repositioned the infra-red base thingy and its now working perfectly :T

It doesn't make sense though as I have had the keyboard for nearly 18mths and the infra-red base has always just sat where it was.... oh well who cares its damn well working now ... thanks so much for those pearls of wisdom, I was going to work my way through all the suggestions but it appears wolfman  hit the nail on the head........ but of course I will tell OH that I spent 'ages' figuring out and rectifying the problem:A ...;)

    ta very much peeps..........
