That sounds great. I wanted to check mine on the 30 day trial thing with Experian, but stupidly I feel guilty about just taking the "free" bit and then cancelling. If this new thing is free to all then I can do it without feeling that I'm "taking advantage". I must get over this sort of attitude though and become a bit more ruthless:eek: .....I'm just too soft:o .

Experian's annual sales are "in excess of £1.5 billion"

    I don't think they'll miss your £2 for a credit report ;)

I know what you mean about feeling guilty tho. Just remember they won't feel guilty about taking your £5.99 a month if you forget to cancel the trial!

I cancelled my trial by email so I didn't have to speak anyone, and they sent a very nice email back, so I don't think they mind too much!!!

I'd like to make fellow MSE members aware of a couple of things in the context of this announcement.

The organisation providing this service is not a main credit reference agency - it does not provide a credit reference service to lenders.

Neither does it have access to your full credit reports from any of the three main credit reference agencies. As far as I'm aware, their reports will not tell you the names of the organisations that have filed information about you.

I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

I hope the information will be just as complete and useful as the ones for the statutory £2 :)

They will be rolling out on a regional basis. The more people and friends from your region that pre-register, apparently the sooner your area will be becoming active.
