Free Credit Reports from June 2nd

Options
Not sure that this *belongs* in DFW, but I spend a fair amount of time here so here goes...

I know people can ALREADY get free credit reports through Experian, Credit Expert etc [as long as they remember to cancel the trials within 30 days] but I thought this was quite interesting...

As reported in today's METRO:
From June 2nd, a new website http://www.annualcreditreport.co.uk/ is being launched which will give consumers free online access to their credit reports once a year. The idea, according to the online Credit Reporting Agency, is to make more people aware of the data held about them and reduce errors...

Worth a look [at least for those liable to forget to cancel 30 day trials!]

Over and out.

I've been in discussions about this for a few days, its from checkmyfile which is one of the main credit reference agencies. The roll out will take a year starting in the south west of the UK. Im looking into the full impact and funding of it
