What's the next best credit card deal?

Hi,
I'm looking for the best credit card with rewards for when i renew my (£3000) rail season ticket. Last year i applied for an American express cashback credit card, took advantage of the initial 5% cashback and received a very nice rebate.
However, the cashback has now dropped down to 1% and although i've asked them nicely, they wont increase it again...not even for a one off large purchase.
So, what's the next best cashback credit card to apply for or card with a good rewards scheme.
Any ideas, much appreciated:T
