Ah...Not getting on anyway might not help the whole thing! But, you have something to gain in telling them all that you have told us will be happening in the next few days / weeks etc. I know its hard when you don't like someone, but telling them all of this may just buy you some time, and take the wind out of their sails so to speak. Letting them know that you are trying to please them just this once, can only benefit you.

Like others have said, I too can see both sides to this story.
I dont like the idea of a collar that squirts things at the dog, surely that will only distress him more? and it doesn't help with the root of the problem which is that the dog needs human company all day. Hard as it may be it might well be in his interests to rehome him with a family where someone is in all day.
The neighbours do have a right to peace and quiet in their own home. Maybe you could pay them a visit and see just how bad it is from their point of view and actually hear how loud it is?
From what you have said you have done everything and more to try and solve this problem. I hope the animal behaviourist has some answers for you.
I am a dog lover and have 3 dogs. When I am at work my mother pops up every so often to check on them and play ball etc, they really love the company.
I just hope for all of your sakes but especially the dogs that you can resolve this and let us know how you get on!
