Hello,
How long should it take to complete a full buildings survey on a 3 bed cottage built c1850, with barn and outbuildings ? All buildings require renovation.

At least an hour? It varies between houses and surveyors. I had a surveyor who was telling me about people making him lunch in a big house he was surveying!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

My now lost buyers had a full building survey on mine last week (200 year old house). He took 4 hours.0

thanks for the replys.
I was expecting it to take half a day but the surveyor said around an hour. the surveyor arrived at 3.45 and stayed for an hour and a half, maybe a bit longer.0
