is it possible to have your email directed from outlook to your gmail account, i just heard a little rumour that was all, im not sure how true it is

    You can forward it on but it is possible to have Gmail on Outlook.

    You can have Outlook forward any email to any other email address. You just set up a rule for Outlook to do this .. and specify whether it applies to certain messages only or to all messages. AFAIK, gmail won't block forwarded messages.

    What are you trying to achieve? Do you have email sent to a different address which you want to view via gmail on the web? There may be an easier way to achieve this without forwarding ... let us know what you want to do.

  • I forward to gmail from outlook, as I've found it a very useful way of keeping an archive of emails. As far as I remember, the instructions for how to do it are on gmail.

    its not for me, its for my parent, she was told that it could be done, i said no that it couldnt be done, and i thought id ask, so its simple to do then

  • It's about three years ago that I did it, I'm pretty sure they're on gmail - have a look.
