One lucky reader will receive a Sony Ericsson C510 phone in Energetic Red, a red and white Eastpack for Eley Kishimoto rucksack, red and white Carerra Gipsy aviator-style sunglasses and a red Toy Watch.

Which football club is nicknamed 'The Reds'?

I have searched URL, Sony & nuts. Apologies if I have missed anything.

    Hi

When I click on the photo link it gives me an error / page not found. The basic link works.

If one of the links worked for you and you were able to enter the competition why be picky and bump the thread.

BOTH links worked fine for me! Thanks Miss Linda :j

Because the link is not working.

Jesus, people are touchy around here these days. Every time I make a RELEVANT comment, I get jumped on by the forum "police" these days. Small wonder people stick to lurking and don't bother to post when there is a problem.

The link works it is a foible of the site. once it says error if you just click win it brings the comps up.
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

    Sorry to bump...

But that suggests the site doesn't like photy links being posted. A photo link that gives an error is less helpful really if you then have to click two other links to find the comp that's listed!

I would suggest that text links only for this site will stop confusion arising in future.

I regularly have a problem with all the Nuts competitions. The first time I click the link it comes up with an error. If I visit the page again immediately after (using the same link I used previously) it loads fine.

:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j

Have you been counting?! To be honest, I don't really care. I have been jumped on twice in recent weeks for making what I felt to be relevant points relating to the competition, not "hope I win" or the like. I do feel a bit got at by certain, shall we say, factions on this board. The difference with me is that I won't go away but I do feel I am less inclined to post what I see as the "helpful" stuff. I wouldn't mind if it were BGs, but it's not. I really don't like the atmosphere created on this set of boards at present but mostly, I keep my head down and get on with it.

Moving on to technical stuff, I have never had errors like that with photo links before with others not having problems. I am running FF/Vista which can't be that uncommon . It would be interesting to see if certain browser/OS combinations are having this problem exclusively or whether it is something else. But that's just me with my vaguely techy hat on.

Simple ending to this. Get rid of Photo links. Why do we have them? They only cause my browser and plenty of others to slow down like crazy when we open the posts.
