just treated myself to a new laptop - bout blimmin time! anyway whats the best free anti virus, firewall, pop up blockers etc that work well together?
on my desktop pc at the mo we use avg anti virus, zonealarm free edition firewall and ad aware for deleting spyware etc. are these still ok or are there better things out there now?

I would go with what you already have, I cant see any problems with that set up.
Just make sure to remove any (usually Norton) other AV before installing AVG or you may get conflicts, just one AV at a time.0 -

avast is another free anti-virus programme: very small footprint, fast and regular updates - i've had it on my laptop for three years without a hitch (and as an 'alternative' to avg which is also good)BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? :shocked: OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!
