Do you pay a set amount off debts each month?

I pay as much as I can off my credit cards each month (my loan repayments are fixed) without now putting myself into an overdraft sitatuon.

Both credit cards are on 0% until September this year - the Barclaycard will be 15.9% after that and the Amazon one is 12.8% so I am trying to throw more at the Barclaycard each month to get that cleared first before the 0% rate ends (it's ambitious but I am gonna try!).

Anything left over on the Amazon one will be transferred to a 6 month low interest rate card with my bank as it WILL be cleared within 6 months.

I can't spend on them as they were cut to ribbons the other night (they were balance transfers anyway, not racked up by spending).

Thanks hun!! I didnt do anything more than what anyone else is doing on here, just wanted to be debt free by end of 2005 & managed it....somehow!!

Definately looking forward to my trip - it will be so worth it!!

Well, you never know, but it would be just my luck!! The question is, who would I leave my new found wealth too, as before it was just a case of who should I leave my debts too :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: !!

I would obviously be well gutted if it did happen !!
