Just wondering if anyone's been yet and is it something you'd recommend?
My 6 year old son and I are spending (English) half term with my sister in Bo'ness. We go up to Scotland twice a year and I'm always looking for things to do.
The Enchanted Forest is something my sister has suggested, but as it's still a bit of a trek from Bo'ness, is it worth the trip?
TIA.

I've been in the past with a five year old and he was entranced.
Well worth it but there may be a bit of waiting around for the buses before it starts and ensure you wrap-up very well.

Please avoid this! I went a number of years ago and they put on a fantastic light show, it looked like the forest was dancing. I went again last week, what a change, there was no big show and it looked like they had half as many lights in the trees. Its called 'interactive' which basically means the music plays on a two minute loop. The worst bit had to be the whiskey water of life exhibit which was a fountain illuminated by a green light! The exhibits look like they were made by school children, very poor quality
They boast about having a bit where the kids can play with the fairies, what they mean is they have a board with a hole cut out so they can stick their head through it whilst images are protected onto it. They aslo have a spider web made of velcro stuck on a board and you can throw sticky bags at it. Thats it.
I've sent in a letter asking for a refund as I was so disappointed0 -
My MIL went last year after she had heard rave reviews and was most disappointed.
Someone from work is going next week with a 3 yr old so wil on how he finds it.0
