Steak Pudding

Cook the beef in some onion gravy and then line a pudding basin with suet pastry. Put the cooked beef into it and then put the bowl into a simmering saucepan of water for about 45 minutes. Make sure you replace water that has evaporated and dont let it boil dry.

Well after reading this and realising i have some beef casserole steak in the freezer I am having a curry night.
Marinaded the beef overnight and then bunged it in the SC this am before work hopefully it will turn out as rogan josh. Then i looked in the cupboards and found loads of lentils and chickpeas - so im doing a dhal wiht the lentils and a chickpea and spinach vegie side dish (using up my things for the store cupboard challange) and then i got a cauliflower in my green box so im going a potato and cauliflower side dish (which ive done before and its yummy.)

So we will be eating curry for the next few weeks!!!
