Postal Strike Checklist Discussion

II had an important letter that had to be delivered within a week.
Went to the post office where I was told they were no longer guanteeing any deliveries.
If I wanted my letter to arrive by a certain time then I had to send it via a different mail ran by the same company (not sure what this was but I think it was a parcel delivery).
So this delivery which was the ONLY option I had as none of the couriers had info that was easely available to tell me how I could send a simple letter with them, cost me TEN POUNDS FIFTY PENCE.
I hate it that this is the only option and I had to pay a fortune for a letter which should have cost me a few pounds to ensure prompt delivery.0
