Hi there this is my first post... Basically i purchased some goods from an online retailer a month ago. They sent and i have all the items but the problem i have it the payment has not gone through yet and its still pending. I purchased it on 22 september. it also says authorisation expiry 21 october.. Which is tomorrow. Anyone know what happens after that and what would you recommend i do??

If your seller has sent the item, it would appear that they have received payment.
Was it an E-cheque? These can take ridiculous amounts of time to clear.
Or perhaps the payment has not been claimed by the seller. Normally this is not necessary but the seller may have made an error on the e-mail address that the payment was sent to.
Have the funds been removed from your card/ bank/ PP balance?
Check your Paypal again tomorrow and see what it says on the transaction. You may need to contact the seller to repay.0 -
You've got your item. If the seller hasn't got the money i'm sure they'll contact you0

Yh ive got the item. The seller hasnt contacted me or anything. The transaction has expired in paypal and no money out my bank or paypal. Surely if they havn't recieved the money nearly a month after they would have contacted me and why would they send out the items if they havnt recieve payment. We talking about £500 so its not like a 99p job lol0

I would just leave it for now.
At some point the seller will realise and chase it up...
(or on the other hand, if you don't trust yourself not to spend the money, why not contact the seller and ask, or phone up paypal and ask?)Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
