He then said he didn't have a Paypal account and wanted to drop the sale. All this makes me think he is not a particularly trustworthy buyer

Yes - it is positive but is quite old. He hasn't bought anything for a few months. I think I will report him for non-payment today and see where that gets us. I am still puzzled by someone who apparently has no Paypal account bidding on a Paypal only item and then being shirty with me when I want my money!
I also have another buyer who says her paypal account has been blocked and was irritated when I couldn't be at home for her to collect the item at her chosen time! I am taking a cheque on that one but it will take ages to get the item to her with the postal strike and then clearing time.
Folks sure are strange!A [STRIKE]B[/STRIKE][STRIKE]C [/STRIKE]D E [STRIKE]F[/STRIKE]G H I J K L M N O P Q R S [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE]U V [STRIKE]W [/STRIKE]X Y Z0 -
After 7 days go to the dispute consel and report the item as unpaid. Select the option that the buyers payment has not been recieved . After 10 days or if the buyer responds to the dispute you can close the dispute. You will get your fees back and they will get a slap on the wrist from Ebay.0
