Virgin Credit Card

I took a credit card from Virgin about 5 month ago now i have checked my statement and they have been charging me for lifestyle protect insurance.
When they called and gave me a welcome call i told the agent many times i did not want insurance as i have it elsewere but its on there anyway.
I have e-mailed them and told them to listin to the call and i expect the money back and the insurance cancelling.
I was wondering how realistic is this, Whats the chance of me getting the money back?
Thanks

I suppose it would depend how long Virgin keeps records of telephone calls.
Not checking your monthly statements, for up to five months at a time, is asking for trouble, tbh. IME, Virgin is a pretty smooth operation as compared with some providers, but nobody's perfect. Mistakes happen sometimes.
A phone call is all that's required to cancel this insurance and your premiums may be refunded as well, provided that you play your cards right. If you ring Virgin Card Services on 01244 673700, you'll avoid the perishing 0870 numbers.
Btw, Virgin provides excellent online services. If you register your details on the website, you can monitor your account any time of the day or night

Well, the Op was last online in October 2009. You may want to pull up a chair while you're waiting. ....0
