dfs ppi refund

first time poster,thought i would try my hand with ppi refund on an account just finished with hitatchi finance . wrote letter last week and received reply to ring dfs head office. so rang and spoke to them .lady was very polite . told her was not informed of ppi on agreement and she said she couldnt understand why wasnt told.she said she would be in touch with hitatchi to refund all payments seemed a bit to easy .has anyone else had dealings with them plz

Wow, this is brill, normally its always best to put everything into writing, hopefully they will keep their word.
I would just in case, write a cover letter, thanking them for the telephone conversation on (date XX/XX/XXXX) in regards of the Payment Protection Insurance (PPI), and are looking forward to receiving a refund of all your payments and interest, as confirmed on the telephone conversation for as soon as possible.
(Just in case) and keep a copy of your letter, in case you need to refer to it again some time.;)

yes, i got my refund direct into my bank within 5 days of writing my letter!!!Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 20160
