I ordered a CD from liveherenow.com coming up to three months ago. It looks a great idea, they sell authorized recordings of music gigs. Well, I say 'they sell' what it seems is they take money saying they will provide live recordings, then fail to do so.
I have contacted them about five times now regards this order and only recived a reply to my first email saying they had just sent the CD out - this was five weeks after I made the original order. The CD still failed to arrive and it seems they are now no longer replying to the email form on their website - they mask their actual email address so there is no way to email them directly.
In order to order from Live here now you have to use their payment provider Clickandbuy.com. They have proved equally difficult to contact regards this issue. Both companies it seems like to only be contacted by email form and mask the email address of any responses they send you.
Looking around there site they have recently recorded and released shows from Franz Ferdinand, the Pixies, Depeche Mode and Blur. Looking around the fan forums of those bands it seems I'm not alone in receiving little or no customer service along with no CD or download.
They seem to get away with this by crating unique domains for each artist, depechemodelive.com for example which means a quick search for live here now, which I made before buying doesn't bring up any poor reviews. However a search round the various forums reveals no cds, delays and no customer service.
I just wanted to warn others as I'm starting to doubt I will ever see my order or my money back.

they seem to be part of this group http://www.emusu.com/ give them a call and see whats going on...
Sounds dodgy to me because why would a record company let another website sell live recordings of gigs when they themselves can package it better and master it better thus make more profit..
good luck wiht your endeavourone of the famous 50 -
Thanks. Yes, I have seen that name somewhere in one of the [automated] comunications.
I remember reading about the business several years ago. I don't know if it hasn't taken off and noones really bothered about it anymore or if they are too busy to deal with orders. Either way its not good.0
