Hi,
I was wondering if i could get some guidance as to reclaiming PPI from capital one.
I sent the first letter and they basically wrote back saying that the PPI wasnt misold and they they would not be looking into my complaint.
I sent the second letter and got a response from them last week saying that they still uphold that the PPI was sold correctly but they are offering me £241 as a good will gesture. Over the past few years i've paid hundreds in PPI... I got the card on a interest free basis whilst at uni..... happily spent and ran up £1000s and then obviously the interest free ran out so the debits started mounting.... i cant seem to get the balance down even though i've stopped spending on the card and i fainnly clicked that i was paying over £40 per month in PPI!
I got the card over the phone, dont remember them the conversation about PPI.....they've sent me the signed copy of the card agreement but not of the PPI.
What should i do? any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I would now take this to the FOS and send a copy of the complaint form to Capital One so that they know what you are doing.DS1 12/10/04
