Has anyone had compensation for their Railtrack shares?

My mum has some railtrack shares she's had for years, and has been trying to get compensation for them - has had no replies to letters she has sent. Has anyone on the forum managed to get compensation for their Railtrack shares, or have any advice about how I can help her go about it?
thanks moneysavers :-)

While I didn't follow the saga closely I am not aware there is any compensation, which Wikipedia agrees with.
There were some small payments made by the liquidator doing the winding up (also listed on that page) but that's all.0 -

I can remember these shares trebling and thinking they must have been a good buy like alot of the sold off assets. Went to 1755 at one point ? I would have sold before the election I think, I hope anyway0
