Never had to push 3! but the forums on https://www.twinsclub.co.uk are a fabulous source of info, with some real buggy fanatics who will advise on all the different combinations available.

a good sling and a double buggy would be much easier :)
  • My mam had me, then dropped my twin brothers 9mnth later- she wasnt told sahe was having twins either!! She had a big old silver cross put me at 1 end and my bro's at the other. Dont think that's be very fashionable now, but she managed- she had to!!

Friend had 18 months between dd and dd/ds twins, but her elder dd liked walking so she was able to just use a double pushchair. What about a buggy board? I've not used one, but they're a lot cheaper than a triple buggy that would need to be replaced with a double once elder dd was older.
  • got to agree with miss sunshine, my son was 22 months when my daughter was born and i bought a double buggy ..total waste of money and i ended up selling it and bought a mclaren and a buggy board .... the bouggy board has been a saver ! id buy a double buggy and a carrier and chop and change depending on mood of toddler ....how old is your daughter going to be ? ? triple buggies are surely large ..take up all the car boot, heavy etc.

If your daughter is minded to get a triple buggy, and it will only be for a short time, how about purchasing one second hand. The link I have copied in is a reply I had from TAMBA (the twin and multiple birth association, apologies if I got the wording wrong!!) it is a link for second hand triple buggies for sale. They might have a more up to date one if you contact them.

The good thing about a lot of these buggies are they split into a twin buggy, so when the older one is into walking, it can convert to a double.

I don't know the age of the oldest, but if they just can't manage the walk, a buggy board would be ideal, to clip on to the back of the twin buggy your daughter will buy for the new ones and the older one can either sit or stand on whatever model your daughter decides on.

The above link looks exciting if the oldest is able to sit on a bike.

I guess also at the beginning your daughter could put one of the twins in a sling and allow the oldest to sit in the twin buggy when needed.
