In your opinion, if I have any information relating to the original consultation and illustration, should I send them copies? Does it in anyway help my case?
No and no.If they have lost or destroyed their documentation is that their misfortune?
Yes.It is them that have to prove that they didn't missell the product to you, not the other way round. As long as your story is reasonable (some people are obviously trying it on, and the FOS will not normally rule in favour of them) if the seller can't show otherwise, you will win by default.
So why weaken your case by providing information they may be able to use against you when you are not required to?Trying to keep it simple...
