Hi guys...
Well i applied for a santander credit card online a whle back, it was declined. Then i got a credit card application in post for the excat same card which garanteed that i would be accepted.. Bizarre i know, but I sent this off quite a few weeks back.
Anyway on friday I have received my new pin for the credit card, but i have not yet received the card.
Anyone else experienced this does the card usually take longer to arrive.
Also I also requested a balance transfer on the form, but i have checked the card which i wanted to t/f the balance from and its still on there. ?

We've repeatedly warned of Santander's dire customer service on this thread, but it can't be stressed too often
If you decide to chance your arm, it's best to apply in branch. Online and postal applications are still subject to long delays, apparently. From feedback here, there's a 4 week backlog of applications for the Santander Zero card.
I realise it's too late now, but for future reference, it's safer to wait until receipt of your new credit card and credit limit before requesting BTs. That way you keep your options open, avoid unwanted partial transfers, paying the same card twice etc and retain some control over what happens when. BTs are not easy to reverse and, in attempting this, you could incur two BT fees.
At least you have your PIN now, so your application has been processed. 'Hope your new card turns up soon.
Very best

the pin and the card are sent seperatly, so not unusual for pin to arrive first, the balance transfer is probably still midway between cards .0

My pin arrived a few days before the card and also the balance transfers that I requested had been done before I received my card.0
