Make-up tips for pale ladies please

Another pale one here, I don't usually wear a lot of foundation/concealer as its too dark, but found some anti-shine powder which is light enough to use. but as I've currently got a black eye I'm using max factor seamless liquid foundation, which almost covers the bruise but isn't too dark0

Something I do which I read makeup artists do on models with dark eye circles is us a little hemmoroid cream under the eye. It really does work but I don't know i it is recommended or not? BTW it is only for my eyes and was never used on my bum so cross contamination is not a risk!
This is good in the short term but in the long term hemmoroid (sp) cream actually thins the already delicate skin under the eyes which will make the problem worse. And also make the skin crepey (sp)
Also the 'teabag' trick stains the skin.
Best thing is maybe one of those eye masks you put in the fridge. Or cucumber slices.
Sorry just had to comment on this - im a Beatician (sp) lol0
