Hey all
I took a loan out about 4 years ago with GE money through Down Loans part of DM(IOM) LTD I also took out PPI I have cleared the loan about 2 years ago.
I contacted GE money regards claiming back my PPI which cost me £10800 but they say it is nothing to do with them and that I need to contact DM(IOM) LTD it turns out DM(IOM) LTD no longer exist so I am on sure what to do next
please can someone advise.
Cheers

Hi there and welcome.
If this is the case then the business may have been taken over by someone else or maybe bust.
You can contact by email or ring the financial compensation scheme (FSCS), and ask if they have that actual business listed with them, sometimes when checking their lists on the FSCS default search, it does not always show who is listed.
If they are listed with the FSCS, then you can make a claim through them instead.
Details below, good luck and please let us know how you get on, cheers.;)

Just to say, there are loads on here including myself that have gone through these in regards of other companies that have gone down under, give it a go and fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
