Tesco Pricing

Is it just me or have Tesco put their prices up over the christmas period?
We went shopping there for the first time in about 10 days recently and most of their prices seemed to be noticeably a few pence higher. I then opened up the paper the next day to find that they are now the highest compared to Asda (lowest) and Sainsbury.
Maybe i'm seeing things and being cynical but I suppose if you're going to put up your prices accross the board then straight after the christmas break is probably best, when most people haven't been in for a week or so and are feeling too cloudy headed to notice.
