Congratulations to both of you!!!! Leave it between 4-6 weeks and then follow the credit file clean up sticky. Even if you don't want credit it is necessary to do this so creditors don't come calling later and also if you want mobile contract etc.

Well my 12 months is up and I am discharged today as is my wife yippee.I have a question though about rebuilding our credit. I looked at Capital one's site and it says you will not be accepted if you have been declared BR in the last 12 months.I was declared BR on 20th Oct 2008 and have ben discharged now so my question is: is it 12 months from 20th oct 2008 or should it be 12 months from my discharge date, sorry to sound stupid but I was just wondering.
My advice would be enjoy your financial freedom and dont start taking on debt again. This is the reason why you had to go bankrupt in the first place. Also ask yourself have I learnt from this experience.0 -
its not taking debt as such....its rebuilding a credit file
I do always suggest to people that especially the high % cards you pay the ammount IN FULL every month to avoid debt..
one things for sure I have definatley learned from the experiance & i've been discharged nearly 3yrsWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
