Just looking at the stonking great list of people that you have to inform about a change of address and its scary, i've come across https://www.iammoving.com and it looks great.

Thanks for that, I hadn't thought about that catch.
Guess that they inform the 30-40 companies you ask them to and the other 1,960 companies get to send you junk mail.

Worked fine for me and no junk mail whatsoever. It provided a good checklist of who to tell if nothing else.0

Its an absolute bl**dy pain.
Registered and entered details of 53 companies. In most cases it asked for further information that I had to dig out. clicked the "notify" button and it tells me its contacted 12 companies for me, the remaining 41 it has generated letters for me to send! I could have gone through my files myself and used a Word template to do that!
On top of which, of the 12 companies it contacted, 4 were accounts that were in my husband's name. There is nowhere on Iammoving to say which family member has which account so they've emailed me back to say they don't recognise the info.
A success hit rate of 8 out of 53, I'm not impressed!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Yes I did get the rental wrong and it is per week. We chose that Island because we have spent 18 years of holidays there.
